1. Job Title: Electrician

Introduction

Our client operating in the tea production sector is looking for an electrician to prepare, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all types of buildings and other structures within the factory.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advance diploma in electrical engineering/ electronics or similar subject
  • Having at least 4 Years’ experience in similar role within manufacturing industry.
  • Must have ability to pay attention to details in manufacturing with a bias for quality.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of Electrical maintenance

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out the correct procedure for starting up the electrical devices, making sure that all the necessary checks are done as indicated on the SOP.
  • Maintain electrical operation records for all the electrical devices that are in operation.
  • Always ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping in the electrical workshop.
  • Ensure that all members of the electrical team are fully aware of the emergency procedure to be taken in the event of a power failure and other emergencies.
  • Make sure that all workers in the electrical section use the provided protective clothing and personal protective equipment.
  • Coordinate the weekly maintenance of the electrical equipment and ensure that it is thoroughly done.
  • Promote safe working practices, making sure that all company health and safety regulations are followed to eliminate lost time accidents in the electrical section.
  • Draw up a Program for lighting inspection in production line/factory.
  • Ensure that all lightings in production line are shatterproof and keep the updated records of the same.
  • Carry out inspection on all motors and as it is required ensure none of them leaks onto the product during production runs and take immediate corrective action on any leaking motor.
  • Respond to electrical Breakdown as soon as it is reported for the safety and quality of product and safety of the employees.
  • Routinely check the condition of all insectocutor in the production floor and maintain and keep updated record of the same.
  • Ensure that electrical meter readings in all the sections are recorded and updated every day accurately.

Our client operating in the tea production sector is looking for a Factory Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of production. Including planning and forecasting for production, training, and coaching of key staff on company standards, interfacing with operation departments to ensure that location is on target for production goals, production information, tracking and managing employee performance and disciplinary action, and managing all inventory levels to ensure production lines have sufficient resources needed to accomplish production goals.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Food Science or any other related field.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in food production & processing or similar role(s).
